Mr Thazmeel Abdul Samad was first appointed as one of the directors of the board by the government on 24 th January 2019 and appointed as the managing director on 31 st January 2019. Mr.Thazmeel Abdul Samad completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Anglia Ruskin University, UK.

He was the former media coordinator and spokesperson for the Ministry of Home Affairs during the period 2014-2018. Moreover, during the period 2014-201. Mr Thazmeel Abdul Samad was a member of the SAARC Information Center’s Governing Board stationed in Nepal.

Furthermore, between the years 2006 and 2014 he was the Assistant manager of Haveeru Daily. Mr. Thazmeel Abdul Samad had done Executive Development Program from Singapore Management University.
